Description

Each year the brewing team at Coopers sets out to create a bespoke extra strong Ale. This release is characterised by the hop selection which imparts its unique aroma and taste. The 2024 Vintage Ale features Solero, a German hop variety bursting with tropical fruit aromas including pineapple, mango and passionfruit. The aroma is enhanced by a new hop variety derived from Cascade which provides citrus & herbal notes. On the palate this full-bodied ale features berry, spice & melon characters, balanced by a moderate bitterness with a lingering finish. This distinctive & complex brew is perfect to drink now, or if stored under cellar conditions, can be savoured later as the malty characters come to the fore.
